We exist to help our members grow and promote the community as a whole. Our aim is simple – to be the voice of business for Sevenoaks and District.

Established in 1910, our membership has grown in both number and diversity: from small and medium entrepreneurial enterprises, through to large international organisations, national banks and retail chains.

This concentration of expertise, combined with excellent networking opportunities, enables us to provide a range of benefits, information and specialised services.

Mark Tuvey has lived in the area since 1976 and is a staunch supporter of the local community.

As well as being Chairman of the Chamber, Mark is also the MD of 2 Local Businesses Connectaphone offering Voice & Data Solutions for Business, a company that specialises in the emerging and rapidly expanding world of Cloud/Hosted telephony, and Connectacard offering Online Payment & Merchant Services for Business a company that specialises in providing an alternative to some of the more established providers with cheaper transaction charges, modern highly efficient terminals & a unique online portal where customers can view comprehensive details of card income. I am privileged to have been elected Chairman of the Sevenoaks Chamber in August 2013. I have an excellent team of highly competent & supportive individuals as Co-Directors on the Board who I look forward to working with in our pursuit of continuing the excellent support network the Chamber has given the town in its over 100 years of existence. My ethos has always been to “Keep Business Local” and I aim to keep that as our main focus moving forward, in order to help sustain a vibrant business community. I have been an active member for many years, and a Board Director since January 2010.

Kirsteen Allen and Andrea Starbuck – Board Directors

Kirsteen and Andrea launched Ten2Two, a specialist part-time and flexible resourcing agency, in West Kent in 2011. They were typical Ten2Two members, being professional women wanting to work part time and flexibly in rewarding and challenging roles using their skills and experience to enable them to meet the other demands of their busy lives.

They help the large untapped pool of talented professionals out there looking for rewarding part-time work, whether that be permanent part-time, contract or freelance project roles, and local businesses in need of such individuals to connect. They are passionate about being part of the local community and encouraging local businesses to enhance their opportunities through the Chamber of Commerce.

I am Co-Director of Athena Wealth Planning. We opened our offices in Sevenoaks in 2014 with a plan to become an integral part of the local business community and have been overwhelmed by the support we’ve been shown. As a result I was really excited to be invited to become a Director of the Chamber of Commerce where I’ve been given a great opportunity to help other businesses benefit in the way that Athena has in the last three years. Felicity Hayton-Vernet – Board Member

Felicity is the Customer Relations and Marketing Manager of A4G Amherst Ltd, a family run accountancy firm based in the centre of Sevenoaks.

Felicity joined A4G Amherst Ltd in 2014 after working 7 years in London at Jones Lang LaSalle where Felicity assisted a group of senior property professionals dealing with office transactions across Europe and was part of a central marketing team that attended and ran conferences abroad.

Felicity became a Board Member for the Sevenoaks and District Chamber of Commerce back in December 2016, as one of the newest Board Members Felicity will focus on Marketing for the Chamber and will be working to help members achieve the most out of their membership and the opportunities available to them.
